The Golf Course
La Manga is home to three championship layouts, the South Course, North Course and West Course, all offering unique challenges. The most famous of the three, the South Course is a beautiful design with an array of lakes and well positioned bunkers alongside generous fairways. The North Course is demands straighter hitting off the tee with narrower fairways while the West Course places an even high emphasis on accuracy and positioning. Golfers really are spoilt for choice on this little peninsula and it is no wonder that La Manga has been the choice for a host of tournaments including the Ladies European Tour Q School, National championships and a host of pro-ams and celebrity events.

Location - Area Guide
La Manga sits on a peninsula divides the Mediterranean Sea and The Mar Menor. The resort is secluded by design and has historically been something of a private escape for the rich and famous hence the the extensive infrastructure on the strip. Under half an hour from La Manga however, you will find the wonderful historic town of Cartagena with its famous port and ampitheatre. Cartagena is a popular city with a fabulous shopping district and a wide range of fine restaurants and lively bars. In addition to the coastline of La Manga, you will find some beautiful beaches along the Costa Calida. The resort enjoys easy access to the AP-7 motorway and is under 30 minutes from Murcia airport and an hour from Alicante airport.
