The Golf Course
Roda is one of the most popular golf courses on the souther Costa Blanca/Costa Calida. The course is renowned for its excellent playing conditions and in particular the fabulous putting greens. It is of a medium difficulty and very playable for golfers of all levels. The course offers an array of challenges with several distinctive water features that come into play especially on holes 7, 9 and the challenging 18th. The par 3 seventh hole is a feature hole with a semi-island green. Par is always a good score. Excellent practice facilities and a great atmosphere are the final touches to an excellent golf club and the Roda Clubhouse is second to none offering a high class restaurant and extensive terraces with views across the resort.
The Resort
Roda is now an established and popular resort within a couple of miles of the Meditteranean sea. You get a sense that you are arriving at a luxury resort as soon as you come through the security gates that operate 24 hours a day. The resort is well connected to the nearby town of Los Alcazares, a popular area for tourists and residents alike. Just a few minutes by car, you will find all that you need including a main strip with many bars and restaurants, supermarkets and all daily amenities. The clubhouse has a wonderful restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, perfect for those wishing to stay on site and welcoming golfers and non golfers alike.
Location - Area Guide
The Roda Golf Resort sits just a few kilometers from the coast and some fabulous beaches. The nearby town of Los Alcazares has everything from daily needs such as supermarkets, pharmacies, medical centres and banks to gymnasiums, sports centres and naturally a host of excellent bars and restaurants. Within 15 minutes you also have the Dos Mares shopping mall. Roda also sits in a golfing haven with seversal courses within a 15 minute drive. Roda offers direct accessa to the AP-7 Motorway and you are just 20 minutes from Murcia airport and 50 minutes from Alicante airport.
