Los Alcazares

Beaches

Los Alcazares and neighbouring Los Narejos offer over 7km of golden sands that run alongside The Mar Menor, a shallow part of the Mediterranean Sea created by the La Manga peninsula and the Costa Blanca coastline. The Mar Menor is extremely popular  with bathers due to its warm temperature while it is popular with watersports enthusiasts as it is calmer and shallower than the Med. The beaches are well maintained all year round and are serviced by the long promenade featuring a variety of bars and cafes.

The Resort

Los Alcazares is a great little town with a mix of traditional Spanish areas and the more cosmopolitan strip aimed at expats and tourists. The main strip offers a host of different restaurants and bars with an international feel while the Spanish town centre offers some fabulous tapas restaurants and late night music venues. The town offers everything you need on a day to day basis with pharmacies, a choice of supermarkets and a weekly market. Whether you prefer a Spanish lifestyle or home comforts, Los Alcazares might be the place for you.
