The Golf Course
Lo Romero is one of the newest courses on the Costa Blanca and has quickly established itself as a favourite amongst locals and tourists alike. The course is renowned for its excellent playing conditions and in particular the fabulous putting greens. Lo Romero is very playable for golfers of all levels, not overly long and while tight in places, it is generally fairly forgiving. The 18th is without doubt the signature hole, a short par 4 with an island green reminiscent of the 17th at Sawgrass and sure to test the nerve of anyone with a good scorecard on the go. Excellent practice facilities and a great atmosphere are the final touches to an excellent golf club.
The Resort
Lo Romero is a new resort and developments continue with the addition of a supermarket in 2018 while the clubhouse is a great spot for drinks and dinner. While the resort offers a very secluded feel, it is just a few minutes from the busy Spanish town of Pilar de la Horadada where you will find everything you need on a daily basis. Lo Romero is ideally located and so there are no plans to expand into a "bubble" type resort like several others that were built a little too far from towns. Location has proven to be one of the key factors in golf resort success and Lo Romero has nailed it.
Location - Area Guide
The Golf Resort of Lo Romero sits just a few kilometers from the coast and some fabulous beaches. The nearby town of Pilar de la Horadada has everything from daily needs such as supermarkets, pharmacies, medical centres and banks to gymnasiums, sports centres and naturally a host of excellent bars and restaurants. Within 15 minutes you have both the La Zenia Boulevard and Dos Mares shopping malls offering your favourite UK High Street stores. Lo Romero also sits within 15 minutes of several other courses for the fanatics amongst you. You have easy access to the AP-7 Motorway and are just 15 minutes from Murcia airport and 40 minutes from Alicante airport.
