Beaches
Benidorm offers 2 fabulous large beaches named after the prevailing Spanish winds, the Levante and the Poniente. Both beaches offer long stretches of golden sands and clear waters. The popularity of the resort has lead to excellent investment in the beaches of Benidorm and exceptional maintenance leading to impeccable conditions all year round. The promenades that run along the length of the beaches, the Levante in particular, offer food, refreshments and entertainment. There is a real party atmosphere on the Levante beach while the Poniente beach is quieter and more relaxed. Head just out of Benidorm and you will find a selection of beautiful beaches including that of popular Villajoyosa.
The Resort
When people hear the name Benidorm, they generally have a clear idea in their minds but there is much more to the town than the TV Show would have you believe. The New Town certainly lives up to its reputation as a haven for entertainment, cabaret bands and a holiday location during the summer. The Old Town offers a much more sophisticated feel, with some excellent restaurants, beautiful cobbled streets and an authentic Spanish flavour. Nearby Finestrat sits in the hills outside Benidorm and is a fabulous location offering views across the wonderful skyline out to see, offering access to the town whilst enjoying a more tranquil setting.

Benidorm and Finestrat have a great deal to offer from the famous Terra Mitica themepark, the Aqualandia waterpark as well as the nature park. The fabulous Melia Villaitana golf resort is located just outside the town and offers 2 excellent golf courses and first class facilities. Just north of Benidorm you find the charming resorts of Altea, Calpe and Javea as well as Villajoyosa and San Juan to the South. Benidorm and Finestrat sit about 25 minutes from Alicante and 30 minutes from the airport that offers many daily flights to all areas of the UK and Northern Europe. The town enjoys easy access to the AP7 motorway and N332 national road.
